The leaves of Michelia are leathery, narrow oval or inverted oval, with a length of about 4-10cm and a direct length of about 1.8-4.cm. Apex a little blunt and short pointed, the bottom is wedge-shaped or broad wedge-shaped, and there is a certain amount of luster above, petiole length is about 2-4 mm.
The leaves of Magnolia are thin leathery, oblong or lanceolate, about 10-27cm in length and 4-9.5cm in diameter. The bottom is cuneate, the top is glabrous, and the petiole is about 1.5-2CM long.
The flowers of Michelia are upright, the color is light yellow, and the edge of the flowers sometimes turns red or purple. The length of flower is about 12-20mm, the diameter is about 6-11mm, the perianth is long ellipse.
The flower of white orchid is white, with great fragrance. The flowering period is from April to September. It usually blooms in midsummer.
