Parthenocissus is a plant of grape family brocade. Its root can climb on the wall rock.
It belongs to the unicorn leaf of the Araceae family, and can only grow along the pole.
The branches of Parthenocissus are very thick, the color of young branches is purple red, the color of old branches is gray brown, and there are tendrils on the branches. The small leaves are very thick, with wedge-shaped base, zigzag edge, white powder on the back of the leaves, soft light on the veins, and bright red in autumn.
The appearance of the pothos is similar, but it is actually different. The shape of the young leaves is oval before, and they become long oval after maturity. The leaves are relatively smooth, and the color of the four seasons is green. If the two cannot be distinguished, the leaves are green in winter, it must be the pothos.
Parthenocissus can bloom. The flowers open in summer. The flowers are small and the color is yellow green.
It's a simple foliage plant that can't bloom, which is also a good distinction.
Although Parthenocissus like a cool environment, but not afraid of strong light, generally in outdoor growth.
