The main stem of Mirabilis jalapa is relatively upright and cylindrical, with a height of about 50 to 100 cm. It has many branches on it and stretches outward, with swollen nodes on the bottom.
Jasmine belongs to climbing shrub, with slightly flattened stem and high height, up to about 3M. The branches distributed above are relatively slender.
The former flowers have many colors, such as purplish red, yellow, white or variegated. It can also produce two kinds of flowers on the same plant. The flowers will open from June to October. The flower shape also looks more neat, appears to have the spirit.
The latter flowers are simple in color, elegant in white and fragrant. Flowering period is also longer than the former, from early summer to late autumn can continue to bloom.
The shape of the former fruit is round, black, with longitudinal edges and reticular texture.
The color of the latter fruit is purple black.
