The leaves are rhomboid, round or obovate, about 2.5-6cm long and 2-6cm wide. The top is sharp or blunt, the base is round or wide cuneiform, the edge is serrate, and there are usually shallow lobes. The leaves of raspberry are ovate to ovate lanceolate, which are wider than the former, about 5-12cm long and 2.5cm-5cm wide, with a tapered top and a microcardiform base.
Raspberries are umbels, axillary or terminal, sepals are linear, petals are oblong or oval, and the color is pink to purplish red. However, a few of raspberry flowers grow on short branches or are solitary. The sepals are triangular or oval, the petals are oval or oblong, and the color is white.
