Mangtiao red is a variety of osmanthus, which belongs to small trees, while Bauhinia belongs to shrubs. Compared with the two, the bigger one is red, and the smaller one is Bauhinia.
The leaves are long oval, about 9.4cm long and 3.3cm wide. Its leaves are dark green, leathery, and petioles are green. The leaves of Bauhinia are nearly round or triangular, 5-10cm in length, similar in width and length, and paper. The tender leaves are green, and some tiny purple can be seen at the petiole.
It is an umbrella like inflorescence with a length of about 1cm and orange red color. The flowers of Bauhinia are purplish red or pink, with a length of 1-1.3cm.
