Swallow's paw, commonly known as glassy green, is an evergreen shrub. The plant height of swallow's paw is 1-3 meters, with thick branches and leaves. It is green all the year round and has many branches. The leaves are oval in shape, 3-5cm long and 2.5-3cm wide. The crown of swallow's paw is straight and beautiful, the stems and leaves are green, and the top bears white flowers, which is very elegant and unique. Family potted plants are mostly dwarfed, without a very tall swallow's paw. Only when the sun is strong, the edge of the leaves will appear red.
Yushu is a succulent subshrub. Plant height 1-3m. The stem is fleshy, thick, gray white, light colored, with many branches, and the branchlets are brownish green and dark colored. Mesophyll, ovoid, about 4cm long and 3cm wide, with grayish green leaves and reddish edges. The florescence is in late spring and early summer, the diameter of the tubular flower is 2cm, white or light pink.
There is a red edge on the edge of the leaves of Yushu, but there is no red edge on the swallow's paw.
The leaves of swallow's paw are relatively large, but the leaves of Yushu are smaller.
The stem of swallow's paw is softer, and that of jade tree is stiffer.
