Rich and noble trees are medium height trees, generally can grow to about 10-12m, while emerald trees can be higher, up to about 15m.
The leaves of rich and noble trees are larger, and the edge of the leaves is smoother. Its bark is gray and feels rough. The leaves of emerald tree are smaller than those of rich and noble trees. The edge of the leaves is not smooth, but also has some irregular serrations. Its bark is grayish brown, and it doesn't feel as rough as a rich tree.
The rich and noble trees have racemes of 8-12cm in length. The inflorescence of emerald tree is erect, about 25cm-35cm in length. Therefore, the inflorescence of the rich tree is shorter than that of the emerald tree.
