The leaves are leathery, obovate lanceolate, about 11-20cm long and 5-7.5cm wide. The apex is blunt, and occasionally there are short tips. The ones below the middle gradually become narrow, the base is narrow and round, the top is dark green, the dry leaves are light green, and the edge is whole.
The leaves of duying are leathery or papery, oval, wider than the former, about 18-32cm long and 8-17cm wide, with a short tip at the apex, a heart-shaped at the base and serrated at the edge.
The flower petals are oblanceolate and white. There are silver gray hairs on both sides and the color is white.
Duying is a raceme, growing in the axils of the current year's leaves, with 5 petals, which are obovate and yellow and white in color.
