The petals are white, pink or red. The most common is white. The perianth tube is cylindric. And the tiger tail orchid is light green or self colored, every 3 to 8 clusters, will be arranged into a raceme.
The leaves are oblong in shape, about 15-30cm in length. There are 6-8 longitudinal veins on both sides of the main vein, and the transverse veinlets are very closely arranged, with some skewness. However, the leaves of the tiger tail orchid are flat, long and lanceolate, with a length of about 30-70cm. Compared with the former, it has white and green stripes, but not very clear. The edge is green.
The berry of the orchid is spherical, some are oblong, and the color is bright red; its seed is dark gray brown, which is spherical. The diameter of the berry is about 7-8mm.
