The leaves of tomato trees are alternate, oval or ovate heart-shaped, about 5 to 15 cm long and 5 to 10 cm wide. The top of the leaves gradually becomes sharp, the base is slanting, with deep bending and missing, and the leaves are full or slightly wavy. Leaves dark green, back light green, petioles 3 to 7 cm long
Tomato leaves have pinnately compound or pinnately deep split leaves, 10 to 40 cm long, irregular leaflets, usually 5 to 9, oval or oblong, 5 to 7 cm long, with irregular serrations or lobes at the edges.
The cymes of tomato trees grow near or outside the axils. The pedicels are 1 to 2 cm long, and the calyx is radial, about 6 mm in diameter, with short villi. Corolla radial, pink, 1. 5 to 2 cm in diam., with 5 deep lobes, lobes lanceolate.
Tomato flowers yellow, crown radial, diameter about 2 cm, calyx lobes are lanceolate.
The fruit of the tree tomato is ovoid and juicy. It grows about 5 to 7 cm. Its surface is smooth and its color is orange or reddish.
Tomato berries are oblate or subglobose, fleshy, juicy, orange or bright red in color, with smooth surface.
