Anthurium andraeanum is a tropical plant. It is suitable to use the soil with weak acid, good permeability and high nutrient content. The soil will be fat and oily, and the leaves will be green and dripping!

Do not apply fertilizer to the newly purchased red palm or young seedling. Apply fertilizer when the growth is particularly vigorous. Use the common nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium compound fertilizer once every 10 days. When it is near the flowering stage, most of them are phosphorus and potassium fertilizers, which are applied together with water and fertilizer.

If it grows smaller and longer after flowering, it is basically because of poor soil, poor permeability and lack of nutrition, which leads to less nutrients absorbed by the root system, and the flowering consumes a lot of energy, the longer and smaller it will naturally grow, and the general water-soluble fertilizer will be applied.
Red palm leaves are prone to various problems, especially in summer!
When there is a problem, first check whether there are any insects on the back of the leaves. There are white insects and spider webs, indicating that there are thrips, red spiders and other pests. Quickly remove the sick leaves.
If there is always a dry mass in the middle of the leaves, it may be caused by anthrax. Spray the leaves with carbendazim + irrigate the roots once a week, three times in a row will have effect.
If you put your red palm on the balcony for a long time to receive the full day's sunlight, it will basically burn. You should cut off the burned leaves and keep them. Move the flowerpot to the astigmatism place for ventilation and maintenance.
There is also a kind of withered leaves that are burned by the sun. If water is sprayed at night, the water will not evaporate before the sun shines. Therefore, it is necessary to clean up the water on the leaves at ordinary times.
