The ramets were divided from September to October, and the tuber root and rhizome were separated for planting. That is to say, when the plants are replanted after dormancy and recovery, they are divided.
According to different storage methods, the treatment of root block is different.
At the beginning of September, dig out the root from the flowerpot, shake off the soil, and use your hands to break it off along the growth of the root. Ensure that each separated part must have a section of root neck with 1-2 new buds and 3-4 small roots. Then soak it in potassium permanganate solution for 3.5 minutes, and dry it in a cool place.
The dormant root tubers from the basin have been treated before and should be very clean and do not need to be cleaned again. However, in order to prevent the root from rotting and sprouting neatly, disinfection is still needed. Then, the initial treatment of germination was carried out.
A layer of 5cm thick clean wet river sand shall be laid in the shade, ventilation and rain shelter, and the broken roots shall be inverted into the wet sand, only the sprouts shall be buried, and the rest shall be exposed. Spray cold water frequently to keep the river sand dry and free of water. At the same time, spray carbendazim solution once a week to prevent root rot. Root tubers grow slowly at low temperature, and are planted when buds sprout like rice grains and produce new roots.
The planting should not be too deep, just bury the root neck. Too deep is not good for leaves; too shallow is not good for roots. Control the watering before emergence, keep the soil moist, and gradually increase the watering amount after seedling preparation.
