It's said that Phalaenopsis is not easy to raise. In fact, it's a veritable plastic flowering machine. It's as beautiful as a plastic flower. It can blossom as a model worker, and it can grow new flowers and arrows at the same time. It's much better to raise than you think!

How can Phalaenopsis be raised?

The most commonly used plant material of Phalaenopsis is water moss, because it has good moisturizing property, so you don't need to panic when you go far. It's common that you don't water it for 10 days and a half months, and it doesn't affect its growth even if you support it for 1 month. It's common in North and south!

I usually forget to water when I'm busy at work. This is the right choice. As long as the roots don't rot, they can still grow well.

Bark, coconut shell and ceramsite can also be used, with excellent air permeability, but poor moisturizing effect. Generally, they need to be watered in three or five days and dried once every two days.

It's more suitable in the south. It's super easy to use in the rainy season. It's OK to raise one or two pots in the north. It's too tired to water if you raise more.

Some people say that butterfly orchid would rather be dry than wet, but it is not absolute. Butterfly orchid likes water rather than water. Its original environment is tropical rainforest, high temperature, humid and rainy, attached to the branches of trees, so it can't keep water.

Even if the rain keeps washing away, as long as the roots are not rotten, they can still grow well.

Strong light is not suitable for Phalaenopsis. In summer, it can be put under the shade of trees, and the rest three seasons can be vigorously basked.

Phalaenopsis basically needs to be fertilized all year round. Unless the low temperature lasts for a long time, it should not stop fertilizing.

Spring and summer is the growth period, thin liquid fertilizer can be applied every 7-10 days, and it is suitable to use Phalaenopsis special nutrient solution or special fertilizer in different periods.

During the period of vegetative growth, nitrogen and potassium fertilizer can be toped up and applied along the water. After several times of fertilization, water once to wash the inorganic salts left at the bottom of the basin and damage the roots.

Autumn and winter are the flower bud differentiation period of Phalaenopsis. Phosphorus fertilizer can be used, but it should be thin. It should be applied every 2 to 3 weeks. Do not apply it to budding and later, or it will fall early.

After phalaenopsis blooms, if the branches are still strong and the tips are green, there is still the possibility of continuing to bloom. You don't need to cut the branches, so that the flowers will resume faster. If the branches are yellow and dry, you can only cut them.

Some Phalaenopsis have strong trunk after flowering, and the tip of the flower arrow is withered and yellow. In this way, the branches of the flowering part are cut off, waiting for the high buds or long high points of the flower arrow to grow from the trunk of the branches.

Peel off the coating of the main sprouting area carefully. Spray water or aspirin diluent on this area in 1-2 days to speed up the growth of high buds or arrows.

Some flower friends want to have more flowers and stronger branches, so they cut branches and wait for Phalaenopsis to grow arrow from below.

What varieties are suitable for beginners?

Flowers to recommend some large and medium-sized flowers, flowering more, the classic varieties of good flowering, like you can try to raise look!
