There are three main reasons for the long wrinkles in the middle part of the leaves, i.e. the flowers below.
The biggest reason for the folding of the leaves is the lack of water. Although this plant is drought resistant, the leaves are easy to fold when the plants are short of water for a long time.
Because of the leaf fold caused by long-term drought, the potted plant should be placed in a cool and ventilated place to be watered for several times. After that, spray water to the plant every three days, and the fold will be improved. (spray water, don't let the water in the leaves gather)
After a summer's shade, if you suddenly give it a strong sunny environment, the light is too strong, the plants can't bear it at once, and the leaves are prone to dehydration and wrinkles.
If the leaf fold is caused by sudden change of environment, move the potted plant to a cool and ventilated place in time, spray water on the leaf surface of the plant, and the fold will disappear one week or so.
The potted snake plant is most afraid of standing water. If the root system with large water is easy to rot, it will cause the plant leaves lack of nutrients, and the light ones will be wrinkled, and the whole stems and leaves will be soft and lodging.
Once the water rotten root is found, the plant shall be taken out of the original basin, the attached soil shall be removed, the rotten part shall be cut off, and the rotten part shall be put in a cool and ventilated place for two days, and the basin shall be put on the damp soil again.
The root system of snake plant is seriously rotten. It can cut 8 cm long robust leaves, cut them, and put them into water to promote their rooting. After the leaves take root and sprout, they can be transplanted into the soil.
In autumn, the snake plant can't lack light, or the leaves will be pale, but the west sun in the afternoon should be prevented, so that it can more sun in the morning to increase nutrient absorption.
Autumn is the growth period of snake plant. If the outdoor temperature can be stable above 15 ℃, flowers and flowers are recommended to be exposed for cultivation. It is found that the outdoor temperature drops below 10 ℃, and they are moved indoors.
When the outdoor exposed temperature is lower than 10 ℃, the water must be cut off, and when the pot soil is close to dry out, the water shall be poured through again. If a new bud is found on the snake plant, the soil surface will turn white and the secondary water shall be poured.
In autumn, the highest temperature can still be stable at 20 ℃. It can be watered once every half a month to promote the plant to grow leaves and sprout. Generally, it is applied 20 times with water.
For the snake plant that has already grown in the pot, it is suggested to divide the flowers into different plants in autumn, cut the connected fleshy roots with a knife, dry them in the shade for 3 days, and then put them in the pot again. The short fat flowerpot is preferred.
