At different stages, the time of watering is different. In the hot summer, water can be supplied in the morning or evening instead of at noon. When the temperature is low in late autumn and winter, it is necessary to choose water supply at noon to avoid the root damage caused by too cold water temperature.
The method of watering is also crucial. Blind water supply is not allowed. Otherwise, the growth will have problems. First, prepare the water for irrigation, first connect the water to dry for a period of time, and then wait for the chemical components inside to evaporate, then the water can be supplied. When watering, it should be poured down the edge of the basin. The action range should not be too large. It should not be poured down directly from above to prevent water splashing everywhere.
Ponding will cause damage to the roots, so the water volume must be moderate, not too much or too little. If the water volume is too much, it will lead to rotten roots. If the water volume is too little, it will lead to no water supplement to the roots. In the daily growth period, each watering needs to be done thoroughly until the bottom of the flowerpot flows out, not only half of the water.
The frequency of watering mainly depends on the growth stage. The frequency of watering can be more in the growth period, and it should be reduced in the winter dormancy period.
