Canna does not have very high requirements on water content. In terms of watering time, there are requirements in winter and summer. In winter, when the temperature is high, it is better to choose between noon and 2 p.m., which is the opposite in summer. It is better to avoid this time period and choose between morning and evening.
There are two main methods, the simplest is to take it out in a basin, wait until the chemical components in it evaporate, and then pour it into the basin. It can also spray water on the leaf surface to keep the leaf surface moist, which is beneficial to the growth.
The amount of water should be kept moderate, just pour it through. Too much or too little is not appropriate. If the water content is too little, it will lead to drought in the basin soil and problems in plant growth. If the amount of water is too much, the phenomenon of water accumulation will appear, and the root is prone to problems.
Spring climate is mild, just in the stage of germination and growth, water can be given every day. In the peak season of summer growth, it's better to have water once in the morning and once in the evening. In autumn, the air temperature decreases, and the secondary water can be given every 3-4 days. In winter, the frequency of water application should be reduced, just keep the basin soil dry.
