Tulip is a perennial herb. Its bulb is cone-shaped, with a diameter of 2-3cm. There is a layer of pale yellow or brown membrane on the outside and 2-5 fleshy scales on the inside. The stem and leaves are relatively smooth, with some white powder on them. The leaves are lanceolate, with 3-5, entire and wavy. Its flowering period is from March to may, and the flowers are solitary at the top of the stem. The flowers are large and cup-shaped, with a variety of colors including magenta, bright yellow and purplish red.
