The resistance of Daphne odora is better, the possibility of infection is less, and there are few diseases. If not properly maintained in the growth, it may be infected with mosaic disease, which will cause color spots on the leaves, which will affect the flowering and basically stop the growth. The damage to the plants is still relatively large. If the disease is found, the whole plant can be dug out and then destroyed to prevent transmission to other plants.
The occurrence of insect pests is also less, and there may be occasional aphids and spiders, especially in the hot summer weather, which is more likely to occur. Try to focus on prevention, and reduce the possibility of being infected by some grass heaps that are prone to pests. If it is found that the pests have been infected, it can be sprayed with Baume 0.5 degree sulfur mixture, or dichlorvos, with relatively good results.
Because the root under Daphne odora has sweet taste, it will often provoke earthworms. If it is ignored all the time, it may entangle the root and cause damage to the absorption function. Usually, the earthworm should be taken out and the flowerpot should not be placed on the earth to prevent the earthworm from drilling into the hole.
