The erect part is only 8-37 cm high, and most parts of the whole plant are covered with white or purple hairs. The leaves are very thin, round kidney shaped, dark green on the surface, light green on the back, palmately extended, with 5-7 cracks. Margin serrate, base cordate, petiole 4-23 cm long. Its flowers open from May to November, umbels, green in bud, white after flowering, with pale yellow or purple glands at the top.
