The leaves are opposite, oval or oval in shape, with small cracks on the edge. The fruit is round and not too big. It is green when it is not mature. It turns red or purplish red when it is mature. There are 4-5mm fruit petals and slightly raised little dots. After a long time, the seeds will come out, and the outer shell will split into two parts.
1. Smell: the real prickly ash smells carefully, and it will have a strong smell of hemp. The fake prickly ash doesn't smell obvious.
2. Weighing: the real prickly ash pile up feels very light, if some quantity is not much, but the feeling is relatively heavy, it may be fake prickly ash.
3. Pinch: you can also pinch it with your hands. The real pepper pricks your hands. It is possible to crush it with a gentle pinch, while the fake pepper is not easy to crush.
4. In the bubble water: you can also distinguish when you are in the water. The real bubble water is light brown. If it is fake, it is usually dyed. The color of the bubble is darker and looks red.
