Sowing is an important way of propagation for Coptis. So first we need to understand its seeds. In terms of volume, compared with other small seeds, its seeds are relatively large. Moreover, it is covered with a blue or green skin. When they are stored, they must not be broken, otherwise it is not good for storage, and it is not easy to sprout after breaking.
1. To sow seeds, you need to choose seeds with good quality. If you want to buy seeds online, you need to choose a guaranteed store. After you buy it, be careful not to peel off the seed.
2. Immerse the selected seeds in a small amount of water for about half an hour. Put some soil into the basin, and then pour it through. After the seeds are soaked, put them together with the water into the basin filled with soil, try to be even, and let the seeds be distributed everywhere. Do not put them all together
3. After pouring, cover it with a thin layer of soil. After that, make sure it's wet. Spray twice a day. But don't spray too much water. Just keep it slightly wet. The temperature should also be suitable. The light around should not be too strong. It's better to put it in a dark place. In about three days, it will germinate.
