Cornflower has strong adaptability and is easy to raise. It likes enough sunshine and is not resistant to humidity. It should be given enough light at ordinary times. It should be often moved out of the room to be exposed to the sun. Especially in the dry winter with short time of light, it should be planted in a sunny and well drained place, but it should avoid direct sunlight in summer. Cornflower is more cold resistant, like cold and cool environment, avoid hot.
In principle, watering once a day is enough for cornflower, but more water will be needed when cornflower blooms, so the amount of watering should be increased than usual. In the hot and dry summer, the water demand of cornflower will be greater. You can water it once in the morning and once in the evening to keep the pot soil moist and reduce the temperature of the pot plant, but do not accumulate water. Cornflower likes fertile, loose and well drained sandy soil.
Cornflower can naturally send out delicate lateral branches, but the flowers will become smaller if there are too many lateral branches, so if there are more lateral branches, you can pick off some lateral buds and leave only smaller branches, so you can get larger flowers. Cornflower likes sunshine. In winter, the sunshine time is short. At night, you can use plant lights to supplement the lighting, which can make flowers bloom earlier.
