The leaves are oblate or ovate, 14 to 35 cm long, 6 to 8 cm wide, with two or nearly three pinnate divisions.
The leaves of cinnamon twigs are alternate or nearly opposite, long oval or nearly lanceolate, the apex of the leaves is slightly sharp, the base gradually becomes sharp, leathery, the edge has cartilage, curls inward, the upper part is green, the surface is glossy, glabrous, the lower part is light green, with sparse villi.
In the umbel, there are 4 to 10 small flowers, the petals are obovate and white.
Osmanthus panicles axillary or nearly terminal, growing about 8 to 16 cm, white flowers, growing about 3 to 6 mm, flower lobes into oval oblong.
