Ginkgo tree has many other names. It is also called Gongsun tree, duck foot tree, Pu fan and white fruit tree. In different areas, the name is also different. Most areas will call it ginkgo tree. It is called white fruit tree because its seed is called white fruit. It is also called Gongsun tree because it grows very slowly and has a long life span. 1. When it is young, its bark color is light gray and very smooth. The color will turn to grayish brown and relatively rough after growing and maturing.
