Generally, after three months of planting, the rape flowers begin to bloom. Its flowering period is about 30 days. There are many factors that affect the early and late flowering.
First of all, it is the temperature factor. The faster the temperature rises, the earlier the flowering time will be. In general, it will start to bloom as early as the end of February. It will bloom most vigorously in the middle of March, and wither around the end of March to the end of Qingming. But if there is a continuous low temperature in spring, the rape flowers may not bloom until the middle of March.
Rape flowers are widely distributed in China. According to the differences of planting areas, dimensions, land and sea locations, rape flowers are divided into two regions: Spring Rape and winter rape. So in the flowering time, generally from the end of December to the end of April next year, rape flowers will be seen in different places.
At the end of December in the south of Taiwan, you can see the blooming talented flowers. In warm winter, the flowering period will be earlier. From January to February, rape flowers mainly bloom in Yunnan, Guangdong, Guangxi and other regions, March and April in Sichuan Basin and north of Wuyishan region entered the flowering period.
The altitude also has different effects on its flowering. This factor will be particularly obvious in the western region of China. The flowers in the river valley will enter the flowering period every July and August. However, due to the existence of the Qinghai Tibet Plateau, some changes have taken place. It should have been cold in the north and warm in the south, but it has become hot in the north and cold in the south. Therefore, the Junggar basin bloomed in June, while the Tibet and Qinghai will only open in July and August.
