Spring radish is widely planted in the north of the Yangtze River. The middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River are sown from February to March and harvested from April to June. In the Yellow Sea area, it is sown from March to April, and harvested from the first ten days of May to June. In Northeast, northwest and north of North China, it can be sown from April to May and harvested from June to July. Its growth period is about 25 to 60 days.
Summer radish is sown from May to June. It can be harvested from July to August.
Autumn radish is sown from late July to early August in the northwest and North China, and can be harvested from late October to early November. It is colder in the northwest and northeast, so the planting should be a little earlier, sown in the first and middle of July, and harvested in the first and middle of October.
Winter radish is generally planted in the first and middle of September, not too late, to the late temperature is low, too late to affect the yield.
