Generally speaking, changing soil for dafai tree will not die, but if the operation is improper or the root system is damaged, there will be the possibility of death. It should be noted that if all the old soil is removed during soil replacement, it will be difficult for it to adapt to the new environment and die easily. Try to remove part of the old soil, plant roots around to retain some of the original soil, so that it will recover faster.
1. Shaving: remove all the branches and leaves on the plant with sterilized blades, and keep the bud eyes. After sterilization and disinfection, put it in a place without strong light, spray water properly to maintain a slightly wet state, and wait for it to recover slowly. If root system also has rotten part, also need to cut off in time, and disinfect.
2. Root repair: if it is caused by root rot, it needs to be taken out from the basin soil and cleaned up the old soil. Check the rotten root system, if all rotted, cut off the root system, dry it after disinfection, and replant it to grow new roots again. Don't put it under direct light, let alone too much water, put it in the half shade, keep the soil slightly wet.
