Tulips have high cold resistance, and will not freeze to death in the low temperature environment of - 14 ℃ in winter. If the maintenance method is proper and the temperature is appropriate, tulips may bloom before and after the Spring Festival. But if you want it to grow better in the next year, you'd better move it indoors for winter and avoid the influence of low temperature
1. Light: it is very light loving. It should be placed in a place with good sun during maintenance. If the light is not needed, it is easy to shoot, resulting in poor growth and shorter flowering period. However, if it is just planted in the basin, it should be treated with shading, and after the middle ball sends out new roots, it can be maintained normally.
2. Watering: during the maintenance period, the basin soil shall be kept moist to a certain extent, but no water shall be accumulated. Especially in winter, once the water is accumulated, it is easy to cause the seed ball to rot and cannot survive.
3. Fertilization: its growth can not be separated from fertilizer, especially before and after the bulb expansion period and flowering. Fertilizer should be applied frequently, but pay attention to the concentration of fertilizer can not be too high, with rotten cake fertilizer or bone powder on the line, thick fertilizer is easy to burn plants, but not conducive to growth.
4. Temperature: it is cold resistant, and it can grow well when the temperature is more than 8 ℃. However, in case of high temperature, it should be kept away from the sun and light and moved indoors. When flowering can give it a suitable low temperature environment, can make the flowering period more lasting.
