Guava is a tree, up to 13 meters high, with flaky bark, gray and smooth color. There are edges on the twigs. Shiga fruit is a small deciduous tree, relatively small, about 3-5 meters high, with thin bark, gray white color and many branches.
Guava leaves are leathery, oblong to oval, about 6-12 cm long and 3.5-6 cm wide. The leaves are rough, hairy below, and have obvious network veins. The leaves of Sakyamuni are thin paper, elliptic lanceolate or oblong, about 6-17.5cm long and 2-7.5cm wide. The back of the leaves is hairy at the early stage and will fall off to glabrous at the later stage.
Guava is spherical, pear shaped or ovoid, about 3-8 cm long, with persistent sepals on the top, white and yellow flesh, and smooth surface. The color of the fruit is yellow green, with white frost on the outside, and the surface is not smooth.
